As a Head Cashier, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of transactions in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee the cashier team, maintain an organized workspace, and ensure that customers experience smooth and professional service. Your ability to resolve customer concerns, manage payment authorizations, and coordinate cashier activities will contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate cashier activities efficiently
  • Handle payments and returns as per policy
  • Resolve customer complaints and address supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain an accurate inventory system
  • Prepare sales and personnel reports

Must Have

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a cashier or supervisory role
  • Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus
  • Experience in a retail business setting
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in supervising a cashier team
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to train and mentor junior cashiers
